Default How to diagnose VCT issues...

Long story short, I bought a 3v that hadnt been maintained properly. Almost everything at this point has been replaced.

cam phasers
timing chain tensioners
timing chain guides
timing chains
VCT solenoids
heads with valve job
hyd lash adjusters
head gaskets
head bolts
exhaust manifold gaskets
coilpacks
spark plugs
cam position sensors
crank position sensor
crank sprocket
crank trigger wheel
melling oil pump
belt
thermostat
crossover neck gaskets
timing cover gaskets
crankshaft/balancer gasket
5w20 motocraft oil
motocraft filter

At this point its a whole new truck. Drives PERFECTLY. My issue is when the truck goes back to idle, ONLY on an angle. So driveways and parking garage at work. The truck shakes like crazy. Obviously a VCT issue. I have an autometer oil pressure gauge installed now and my oil pressure doesnt skip a beat, especially at idle.

I use a ELM-327 bluetooth ODBII dongle and an android tablet with the torque app. I can see the ignition timing advance/retard happening but I cant see any type of PID regarding the VCT system and its camshaft timing changes and furthermore what the cam position sensors are picking up. The VCT's are brand new ford 280 new designs. The bore's are sparking clean. I had a friend with the snapon computer plug in a while ago when it wasnt properly running and he had a method to override the VCT system... Is that the only way to diagnose?

I'm at a loss at this point why my truck falls on its face only when its at an angle. I could go to a stop at 500 stop signs and intersections but if I go in my driveway sure enough it starts bucking like a bronco.
