Default Heater core?!?

Hey guys need some info before I start tearing her apart.
No heat! Plenty of coolant, temperature of engine steady and is where it is supposed to be so I ruled out the thermostat. I am leaning towards a heater core but wasn't sure if there was something else anyone knew that could be cheaper or easier to change.

Good question, can't say I did and I wasn't listening for it honestly. I assume that is a common animal.

Yes...if it don't change position's it will not allow heat into the cab. the only way it could be your heater core is if it were clogged.

I am sitting in it now.when I change the temp I can hear the actuator and the door moving.when I first got in it and turn it off and back on to 90 degrees I heard a good click then it seemed to move.it might have stuck. You wouldn't happen to know the easiest route to put an eye on it without ripping the dash apart do you?

I'm guessing you got it figured out by now. Was it the blend door?
I would have checked both heater hoses under the hood to ensure they were both hot, as the next step.
So I'm wondering if it turned out to be the door or the core?

Yep totally forgot to update my results. What I ended up doing is turning my temp up to 90 degrees then back to 65 or so to listen to the door and heard a loud pop and it has been working great ever since. The door had to be stuck. When it gets warmer outside I will replace it.but for now we are looking good.

Yeah me too but I am sure since I didn't go ahead and repair it,it will bite me in the *** right at the wrong moment. Like 2 degrees outside and stuck in traffic with icy windows LOL
