Engine swap
May be a dumb question but ill ask anyways. I have a 04 5.4L V8 xlt f150 with about 190,000 miles on it . I work for a HVAC company recently one of the guys got hit going thru an intersection in his 2013 E-350 work van . If they decide to take it to the crusher I may be able to talk my way in to getting the engine . My question is would I be able to sway it ? with my truck being an 04 f-150 and it being a 2013 E-350 . And if so how much $$ would you expect a shop to swap it for . I would love to do it myself but I lack the tools and the time to attempt it . You input would be appreciated .

If its the 6.2 it probably wouldnt fit.
5.4 is a modular engine so i doubt they even could have made changes to the engine. The only thing i could see you needing to do is keeping your old intake system and manifold. Possibly need to re-use exhaust manifolds.
