Hello. I just put new heads on a new short block. I used felpro gaskets and headbolts. I cleaned all the gasket surfaces and bolted the heads on hand tight. Both heads had new cams and ofcourse they were installed with assembly lube. This was 2 or 3 days ago. This morning I was about to torque the heads down and I noticed assembly lube seeping out between the block and heads. So the assembly lube seeped out of the cams and down the oil return holes because the heads weren't torqued down. I wiped the assembly lube off the head gaskets but they are layered and I didn't want to try to seperate the layers. Before I stretch the new headbolts I wanted to ask the members here if they think I will have a issue with the headgaskets.
