cold miss
hey everyone, new guy here. I have a 2013 f150 xl 5.0 that is throwing code p0302 misfire on #2. but only runs ruff when engine is cold, it runs great when it reaches normal temp. I have changed plugs, coil, injectors, checked wires, checked for vacuum leaks truck has 150.000 miles on it. anybody having any similar problems, thanks for any help.

How have you "checked wires"? Have you looked for the coil, and injector signals, cold, and hot?

Valve erosion. I've seen same problem at cold start.

sounds like low compression on one or more cylinders when cold like my 5.4 4x4 2005 f150 at 140,000. I had just bought the truck and didn't know anything about this engine and didn't have the money for a serious repair after paying for the truck . looked for something to help me get it through till I could save enough for proper repairs. found an add-in motor trend for Xado engine and drivetrain products after more research it said it won't fix broke but it sure will fix worn. After 50 years of pulling wrenches, I finally found something that does what it says it will do. after 9000 miles it is still running better than ever. stopped burning oil ( no blue cloud on startup) I Hooked my Actron scanner to it and have driven it down the road and timing system works like it should. more power, better gas mileage is what we are all after and this does it better than anything I have used. before you guys run up the B/S flag try it first then you will know what you are talking about. NO, I am not a dealer but I do order mine from Xado US as I get fast delivery. I have gone on to using it in everything I own and my family's cars. I hope this helps.

Does everything you own and your family's cars have low compression when cold on one or more cylinders? Seems odd. If there's no problem what is it fixing?

Xado is a friction modifier using nano technology. it works by plating parts that create heat and friction once the friction and heat are reduced it stops building on those parts. this increases horsepower and torque.this will work even on a low miles engine. will continue to work after oil is changed and guaranteed for 62,000 miles.example my 2015 f250 6.7 added at 18,000 miles. overall mileage increased 3/4 mile. power increased considerably. on the same hills at 45 mph that it kicked into 5th it pulled in 6th gear.the treatment is complete after 600miles.
