...no sloppy seconds here..

I put my programmer on performance mode, used 94 octane fuel and for the first time ever, smoked the tires taking off from a stop light...wasn't planning on doing it but it sure launched hard...

ive been thinking about chipping my 98 f150 but ive heard that chips dont work and that its just the placebo effect.

Judging by the feel of the throttle, I would say the programmer added quite a bit. I have also driven other F150s with the 4.6 and I can tell you, mine feels much stronger.

I have yet had it dyno'd though...

I have a Superchips and although others might be leaning towards Edges and the like, I seem to have had good luck with mine. I like the features of being able to adjust the speedo for tire sizes and changing the rev limiter and such...

I have found that it woke the 4.6 up personally..
