Default engine swap question

Hello all,

I have a 1997 f150 with a 4.6l Winsor motor and automatic transmission . It has a dead cylinder on it and I'm, going to replace the motor. I see when looking for used motors that some are 6 bolt and some are 8 bolt flywheels is there a way to check before pulling the motor since I need this as a daily driver. Or will either one work.

Thanks in advance for the help
