How does one tell which 4.6 they have? 2007 regular.cab. Is it a Windsor or Romeo

 

When did Ford start producing the 3V 4.6 I have an 07 Romeo is it a 2 v or 3v

 

An 07 F series will have the 2V 4.6L, the 3V didn't make it into the F series until 2009

 

What GP said. Plus, the Romeo should have a W for the engine in the vin (good deciding Ford vin for the digits/order). Also, the Romeo W should use the smaller metric oil filter (vs the larger non metric.... if/when you see two options when searching for filters based on year and engine).
