Need help to by pass the gem module temporarily. Have tons of snow and my 4x4 doesn't work. My truck doesn't have the dash selector switch instead it's gear on the floor. I have good voltage are the siliniods on the fire wall. I know it's the gem mod because my speedo goes on and off as well as my dome lights don't come on when the doors are open. Also power locks work so.e times. Lot of little issues I will address this spring. My truck is a 97 with the 4.2 automatic. The gem mod are super hard to find for it. I plan to have mine reprogrammed. But I need the 4x4 for the snow. Please please help!
i did also check the fuses and the vacume off the siliniods.

problem started last year after I had an alarm put on. 4x4 light wouldn't go off for quite some time(I didn't drive like that) truck is getting old I know it's time to start replacing parts(127,432 on the odometer) I just have to get through the snowy season. My other vehicle is a hot rod not at all safe for snowy weather driving...
