Has anyone done a camshaft install with the engine still in the truck?

Its not impossible. It just requires removing a LOT of up front stuff. radiator, and maybe even the ac condenser. You might get lucky enough to just move the condenser down. Just make sure you have all the lifters out of the block before trying to remove it.
