Over the past couple of weeks, we have taken you deep into the build process of this very special 3.5L EcoBoost motor build. We have shown our Powerstorm products, our machining work, and the amount of detail we put into each build. The long block is all that is left, waiting for the shipping process.
It will be shipped out and in the customers hands to drop into their race application.
For now, we move onto the next project.
Thank you for following along!

Hi, great thread and great build. Maybe I missed it, but it seems as though the heads are stock and only were cleaned and inspected. No machining, no porting, no larger valves, and no new cams.

Yes, the cams and valves are stock, but we put a lot of work into the machine process. Below is what was done to the heads on the block.

if you look back toward the beginning i was gauging too. 20-30k for the entire upgraded motor and turbos to put me into the 850-950hp sleeper trophy truck territory. this customer is shooting for the 750-850hp range.
also a massive thank you to livernois for talking us along for the build. truly phenomenal and eventually i will need a new motor. so get the r&d going for the gen2 3.5 ecoboost ho. not a sticker guy but a livernois badge on the sides and back would be awesome once we get to motor rebuild time. lol

Cool build ,but it would of been nice to see the head work done,or at least pics before and after in detail...most head shops do it on build threads..
Is that a oil pump hanging off the crank,?
Seems like most ppl use te stock cams,? Is it a lack of choice or what,?
Oh is that a gen 1 or gen 2 ...too lazy to compare pics,lol...
