Engine Code P0282
New to this scene. Thanks for all your posts and information that I've used in the past. So I have a simple question with hopefully a simple answer. Here's the scenario.
2018 3.5 EB, 45k miles, well maintained. I have a low rough idle, regardless of use of accessories like AC. I ran a scan and performed the PCM KOER diagnostic. It came back with the following code, P0282 Cylinder 8 Injector Circuit Low. So, while I'm mechanically inclined, I'm no mechanic. How does a V6 produce this code? What am I not aware of? I am going to try a different scanner tomorrow if I can get to the auto store. In the meantime, any insight as to what may be happening would be greatly appreciated. Here's some further background. I took it in to get evaluated by the dealership. They stated they found nothing out of the normal with their scans. Please feel free to ask questions, as I am sure I left holes in the information.
