Default 600HP, 500ft/lb 3.5L EcoBoost

Ford announced that the 2017 GT 40 will have a 600HP 3.5L EcoBoost....Ford is getting a lot of mileage from their EcoBoost technology!
Imagine a Ecoboost 5.0L Coyote V-8?

How do they get the sound you hear in the TV commercial from a 3.5 EcoBoost? Sounds more like a V-8.

I'm just guessing here ! Twice the RPM's. If it is all out LeMans, it's Prototype and varies from the F150 production block a whole lot most likely. Maybe a set number of that block built to satisfy rules and go into other GT's

The higher trim packages pipe a V8 sound into the cab through the radio speakers;I have a friend that has a platinum, it does it.

The Shelby GT500 is a supercharged 5.2L making 760HP, NOT turbocharged
