Angry Need help removing 4x4 hub

Im trying to replace the balljoints on my 95 150 but cant get the hub apart, I got a couple pieces out until I got to what looks like an inner lock nut but that wont budge. I've been told to be careful since it is easily stripped. Can't find a good thread or youtube video for any of this work.

On my '96, there was a half moon shaped "key" that locked the nut to the groove in the spindle, but that is on the automatic hubs that I just replaced with manuals. Which do you have?

I found this video on youtube which was somewhat helpful to me
in video he uses a 4 pin 2.375 outer spindle nut wrench which didn't work for me, I had to buy a round 2 1/2 inch 6 point rounded wheel bearing locknut to get spindle nut out to remove rotor. I read online that spindle nut should be replaced after removing them from vehicle, I had to reuse use mine since none of the auto parts stores in my area had them in stock, hope this help

I am having an issue removing this as well.I have a 1994 Ford F-150 4x4.My gear looks just like the one in the video but I have no retaining nut.I have removed the large retaining ring at the biginneing and have removed the small snap ring but can’t pull the gear out. There is about 1/4inch play but certainly something I am missing on next steps
