Yet more mass air conversion problems....
OK, so I got 95 mass air into my 93. I had to change the plugs going down to the transmission, the plug to my water temp sensor, and the new harness has a single plug to my wiper motor instead of the two my original harness had. The only issue seemed to be the tranny plugs because everthing else had the same color wires between the 93 and 95. Well it's been a couple of weeks and we are now getting rain....wipers don't work. After throwing some parts at it I have discovered they moved some wires around on the firewall feed through connector. They moved the three main power wires to the wiper motor (from the WCM) from the smaller pins to the larger ones. No big deal, three new splices and I'm hopefully done. The 1993 used cicuits 56, 58, and 61 (I have the 93 Ford service manuals) for the power wires from the WCM. Can anyone tell me if the 1995 used these pins for anything. I am assuming no because I am not seeing anything else not working in the truck...Thanks
Anyway I have moved up to about 18 MPG daily driving after the conversion......
