i know a guy who has a 92 f150 supercab with a 302 5 speed. he put duals on it, its a cat y pipe then just 2 1/2 straight back. it has 192xxx miles on it. the engine was rebuilt at 142xxx miles. and hes asking 1000 for it. good deal? oh and what mpgs would i be looking at?

 

4x4 or 2wd?

Either way, I'd say that as long as it drives good, $1000 is not bad.

Anything reliable for 1K is good. 15/20 mpg w/ a stock Ignition system & the rest of the engine is healthy. It is a supercab & tire size will play into it. It's capable of more!

 

I'd check the reputation of whoever rebuilt the engine. if its some backyard mechanic, that's iffy. If you don't mind putting the work into if the engine would happen to need rebuilt again or if it was rebuilt by a pro, i'd say go for it! You can't beat that price especially with the exhaust 4wd and supercab

 

its a 4x4. it has warn locking hbs, it was built by a shop that what from everybody around here says is good. it has 235/75R15 tires on it
