Won't Start
I have a 91' F-150 with a 302 EFI. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, all the fuses, the Ignition control module, the cap the rotor, the ECU and it still will not start. Also the fuel pump does not kick on when you turn the key on. It cranks over just fine, but won't start. The check engine light comes on when the key is turned OFF, does anyone know what the problem is or could be? Your help is very much appreciated.
i would check to see if the fuel kill switch has been activated . i cant tell you if your truck has it or where they are usually under the dash . its under the rt dash on my 94. they have a reset button . you should be able to hear the hum of the fuel pump on turning the key .
then if thats ok check to see if you are getting
**spark to the # 1 plug . ***
check for good ground at the battery . corrosion will seep into the cable where you can't see it.
what about the fuel filter ? I see you've already done allot of work .
have you replaced the plugs . they can become really worn and full of carbon.
you have a new fuel pump but you should hear a hum when the key is turned .
also i 've heard that a clogged exhaust system will cause no
start trouble .
*** please check the timing *** hopefully your chain has not jumped time .
use some thottle body / carburetor cleaner .
the TPS throttle position sensor may be at fault . they are pricey .
so check the obvious first .
let me know what else you've tried and hopefully we can get it going .

the fuel switch is under the passenger side dash behind the kickpanel that is to the right of your right foot if you were to be sitting in the seat...you MUST remove the panel to push the little red button back down!
thanks for your guy's help and knowledge, my intertia switch is right up under my steering column right by the e brake, but that was not the problem, my batter was leaking and the acid corroded some wires and shorted out and then also shorted out my new computer but i got her running now, thanks again everyone
