Default Whining noise

today i attempted to go fishing. when i got between 2 buildings i all of a sudden started hearing a whining noise from my truck. i can tell its not coming from the front, but sounds like underneath. i have been having clutch problems and just replaced the master/slave cylinders. i had the truck out of gear and hit the gas and the noise seems to be aligned with the rpms. at idle, there is little to no noise, when i hit the gas the noise become ever present. as i am driving and shifting the noise again matches the rpms. any suggestions?

i dont think so, its coming from the transmission. im searching for a thread i read on here about what it was.... doesnt sound like it does it when the truck is in 4th gear. somthing about a pin in the transmission not engaging.
