Where are the lowered 87' -96' trucks?

Thanks Toplait! I just wasn't sure about what I was gonna do, as I am doing work on it. As I said, I'm replacing all the panels that have rust and then doing a backyard repaint with an airless sprayer (not going for showroom paint, but it's really bad as it is). I've also gotten a trickflow intake with a 92mm throttle body and aftermarket fuel rails and pressure regulator (came as a used package off ebay for 660$), and I am rebuilding the engine for peice of mind (320k and kicking though) and then I'm gonna run a moderate boost setup for fun (mileage isn't a concern). It isn't the most practical, but I wont justify another car that I have to pay for when this costs me at most about 2000$ a year with gas, any small repairs, and insurance together. This is my first vehicle as well, so I'm proud of it (pretty well dream truck, 5 speed manual, full float rear axle, extended long bed, and a strong v8, all for 1500$)!

Hello, in the process of of loweing a 90 f150 2wd. Installing the dream beams up front, and having a bit of issue. The sway bar links won't line up. I was wondering if anyone else had issues with this while installing? One link goes on fine. The other one doesnt want to line up with the sway bar. It's half way close and could maybe go in with some drilling on the bar. If anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated! Ill post pics when shes all back together

I had to do away with my sway bars because even though JDM said to flip them and use them on opposite sides I still had issues with mine lining up without them being so close to the springs that I felt that under load they may come into contact with the springs.
The back sway bar had to go as well because the brackets that hold it on to the axle were coming into contact with the exhaust. I could have trimmed the brackets but felt that I couldn't trust them afterwords.
The best fix for this issue in my opinion was to go with aftermarket sway bars because of the attachment points.

Inside man It's a Virginia truck, I am the 3rd owner, I bought it off a guy in a ski village about 2hrs away from me called Mont Tremblant, Quebec, the previous owner bought it about 10 years ago from VA, he said the truck has never seen snow or salt and I am continuing to do the same by parking it for winter. Again lots planned for it in the spring,

I too have more planned for mine. I still haven't fully decided between the BB460 or coyote engines. Pretty sure with how easily obtainable 500-600 reliable hp is out of the BB that's the way I'm headed. Just want the truck ready to roll the moment it's done.
Problem is with that kind of power I'm not just coming up with the money for the engine, but a tranny and rear as well. Oh well, it's just money right?
Also, did you purchase the truck with the roll pan then, or did you put it on there?
