wheels locking up?
I have a 93 f-150 6 cyl 5 sp manual and lately when I try to drive forward after first starting it up, it locks up and won't move. It will roll backward just fine but not forward. It does this even after leaving it parked with the e-brake off. After rocking it forward for a couple of minutes, it releases and drives with no problem. I have no shifting problems or clutch issues noticeable. It has been pouring out the last few days so I haven't been able to get it up and pull the wheels. Any suggestions as to where I should look first?
It's a Canadian thing eh!

Sounds like you may have seized brakes, probably the rear shoes not releasing. Might be time to pull those drums off. Like you said its been raining, so chances are you have contaminated brakes with gear oil from a leaking axle seal and it changes the frictional properties of the material of the drum and the shoes, and rocking it back and forth heats them up and they release.
