Default Wheel Wobble....

Hey guys....

Got a 1985 F150 FI 302 2WD

I put on some 33 12.5r15's on it about a month ago. After driving it the wheel wobble in front was so bad I took it to a shop to see what was causing it. I tried 3 different tires in the front (driver side) and same (some tires make it worse like the ones with more tread). The shop said that to start they would do shocks and coil springs and they showed me some serious play in the radius arm bushing where it mounts to the bracket.

No problem Did all the work. SAME THING!!!!! It feels like the driver side goes up and down. Pretty violent at 35 mph, improves slightly when speeding up. If I go 5 mph I can see the truck go up and down as if the 2 driver side wheels are taking turns going up and down.

One thing to note is there appears to be a very aggressive toe in setting. Wheels are like \ / .

What could be causing this??? It is frustrating the hell out of me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll run out of money before I run out of possible parts. Seriously though, any ideas. Can the aggressive toe in cause this at all?

I forgot to mention that the tires were used with rims from the junkyard.

i would have the tires ballanced first off. then go from there. jack it up by the axle beam so the tire is about 3 inches off the ground then stick a bar of sorts under the tire and try to pry up on it see if their is any movement.

If your wheels are angled in a \\-*-// formation then your alignment is way off. Did you lift your suspension? If its doing that the camber is too great of an angel.
