Default Wheel noise

Today I started getting a grinding noise in the right front. It seems to happen when I put on the brakes. But even if I let off the brake and coast the noise continues.

After I pull out again, even coasting I really can't hear it.

93 F150 2 wheel drive, 115,000 miles.

Anyone have this happen? Going to be cold out working on it so trying to get some info.

Possibly a hanging pad. Other than that check your rotors to see if theyre worn or such

Hope its not the wheel bearing, does it howl as you drive?

I don't hear it going down the road. But I also don't have a muffler so interior noise can drown things out some.

But I can hear the dragging.

Jack up the wheel and give it a spin, pull the wheel forward and back. You have next to no end play on the bearing. Also it will be easier to see whats dragging and fix it before you fry a caliper.

Is there something special I should know about the wheel bearings on these trucks?

Caliper was stuck and ruined my brakes.

Where does that tiny spring clip go?
