I just found out that the original engine in my truck was replaced with a "crate" engine. I know that they replaced the engine and computer but the previous owner is unable to tell me what year the engine is and so forth. I removed the starter and took these photos of the casting numbers. After searching online about how to find the engine information I was only able to find 3 ways. The casting numbers, the tag, and a number on the head that can only be read with the engine out. Can anyone tell me what year this engine is if its possible.

1 = year in the 90's

So 1991.

That's a factory block for a 91-95 thunderbird or mustang, IIRC.
