Default What shocks?

I tried to do some searching before posting, but keep getting stumped.

I bought the moog cc844 f250 springs, which i know fit because a few other members have the exact springs. However the few members who i have seen are still running stock shocks.

I apparently ordered the wrong shock and ordered one not two so i returned it, when i tried to buy new ones i kept getting attitude that the f250 shocks wont fit, and according to advance autos web site, there are different part numbers for shocks on f150's, and 250s and different parts for supercab 250s.

Will ANY f150/f250 shocks fit my truck?

as far as the f250 shocks fitting or not i have no idea. the only thing i could think that would hold them back is the width of the hole for the mount on the bottom of the shock. i ran stock f150 shocks with my 250 springs for a little over a month. but they finally died, they were original anyways. i am now running monro sensatrac load leveling shocks for the f150 and they work great. they come in pairs at about 70-80 bucks. fully extended they're more than long enough for the f250 spring. if i remember right their extended length is about 3-4 inches longer than the stock f150 shocks. and the handling on my truck is amazing now. i've got them at all 4 corners and almost 0 body roll in the turns. even under load.

my pics are posted on here under "finally pics of my baby" you'll see what im talking about. theyre a pain to put in unless you lift the front end up to take the load off the shocks.

i'm thinking they'll fit ok. i had to bend the tabs on my shock mount on my axle to get mine to fit as well. as long as you dont have to bend it out far, they should work well. but good luck!!

I'm going to be installing the F250 springs tomorrow. I purchased Rough Country 9108 shocks from JCWhitney. I'm told they will fit. I also ordered F250 shocks (9113) for the rear, will see if they fit also. I'm taking pictures to document the change.
