What did you do to your truck today?
Last week had headers and a new y-pipe installed. Drove the truck home for the holiday to where my dad’s better tool shed is and finished full front brake job, wheel seals, re-greasing the locking hub, and new fuel filter.
Changing the spark plugs was a lot more difficult and time consuming than I though it would be, but that is because I have zero mechanical skills. It took me most of the afternoon where most of you guys could have them out and replaced in an hour. Still more to do. My wife asked me today how much I have spent on this old truck and she isn't very happy with me. There are still a few more things I want/need to do and I need to get them done before she gets back from visiting the daughter. Oh, well......
Dont let your wife stop you doing want you need/want to do on your truck. They cant understand it but that’s ok as long as you don’t let them put you on a leash. When you do something on your truck take her out for dinner or get her a little surprise gift or do something she will think is sweet then her attention will be off the truck and off you doing stuff to it lol but make sure you do what you need to the truck first then treat her. It doesn’t work the other way around for some reason lol just one of those things. I guess it’s like candy that starts out sour then gets sweet is good but candy that starts sweet then get sour is bad 😂

Tranny and t-case are out. Next comes front and rear axles! (and a rear tank that doesn't leak)
