You think so? I think my crew cab 150 looks better than the reg/ext cab that ford offered

Sorry to say but i think ford dropped the ball when they made the ext cab. Ive sat in mustang coupes with more leg room, and im 6' tall. Hell the smart car I borrowed was roomier. Would much rather have a crew cab to lock my stuff in the truck and on the occasion extra passengers that fit

No i was talking about the back seat room Front no problem, but when i was 13, dad had a 93 ext cab 302. Truck was great, but the back seats were too damn small for 3 brothers in the back, dad driving and uncle and a black lab in the passenger seat. So whoever got the short stick had to sit behind the uncle and lab with the seat wayyyy back on their legs for a 3 hour trip to the cottage

Sometimes i do with i would just have the extra room, not for passengers, but storage. That way i can safely lock my skiis, snowboard, tools, helmets, guns etc in the back seat instead of relying on the finicky single plastic lock on the cap. But i do love my long bed to fit my whole sled in and close the tailgate on complete 4x8 sheets of drywall

I got a steel crate i use as a tool box for the small stuff, but chain saw, jig saw, tool belts and stuff id like to have on hand instead of always crawling to the back on the box, climbing over my stuff and getting it out all the time I might weld some stuff together and make a slightly larger tool box ( maybe future thread?) and have it low profile so i can fit my toneau cover over it during the summer.

There is a beautiful 95 302 ext cab 4x4 same paint as mine at a used dealership for 4G, with only 97 thou miles on it. Id love to get it but ive put too much care in mine as it is to let it go. Ill can deal with the reg cab, but it will be hard to find any ext or crew cabs with a 5spd in them

why not get a heavier duty canopy or a heavy duty cover? then put little mounts inside your bed along the sides for your tools? i usually just lay my chainsaws in my bed of my ram 1500 and strap them to the bedside, i have a canopy on it with tinted windows so its hard to see inside.
