Default What is this?

What is this and what does it mean? It was welded on the cat on my exhaust and it just came off when i grabbed it. Old welds i suppose but what is the numbers for? I was thinking and identification for the exhaust. The numbers are man-8500 and NTJ-1-323.

Just an I.D plate, i wouldn't worry about it just keep it in the glove box for safe keeping , i was thinking you broke an inlet hose or something.
