Default went to buy diff. fluid...

Asked the the guy at the counter to look up how much i need. He then asked me if i had the light or heavy duty rear end. How do i kno? 96 f150 4x4 off road last long bed

there was only 1 rear end offered in our truck...8.8. call another parts store and tell them you have the 8.8. dont forget to get friction modifier if you have limited slip.

3 quarts should take care of the rear differential. As for the front, I don't know, but I wouldn't imagine it to be any more than 3.
