Default Well this is an interesting problem...

A while ago I noticed that when i was driving and then hit the clutch to slow down to a stop the rpms would hold at 1500 for a while then drop to about 800 to 1200 then it seemed to wander between that. I then replaced my TPS and a chunk of hose i read was prone to vacuum leak. this didn't solve the problem, instead it added a new behavior. it will hold at 1500 still then drop to 700 and then back up to 1200 or 1500 then idle around 1000 rpms. thanks for the input ahead of time. it also feels like something is holding it back after i replaced the TPS and the vacuum line.
