its been a long time since i have driven a pushrod motor, so most of this might be pretty normal for a 94 F150 5.8 with 170 k on it.. but I am noticing some odd sounds from my truck

1. It seems to tick all the time a bit...

2. under slight acceleration i get a high pitched almost "whistle" sound from the engine..

Anyone else get these issues or know what causes them?

the truck runs fine otherwise

Tick probably injectors, whistle air going into the motor or a belt, nothing serious, just the sounds of an old truck.
