I have this weird "chinking" or a tinny noise as if a bolt was hitting a hollow coffee can. the noise is coming from the back passenger side. I had a buddy of mine sit in the bed and listen while i drove and we couldnt figure it out. he said it sounds like its coming from behind the wheel area. I pulled off the wheel and drum and all was tight and good there. even adjusted my brakes. any ideas.

 

Check to see if your exhaust is fastened and nothing making contact with it.

 

one day when the truck is cool, grab on the exhaust and see if you can find a loose bolt/connection. Also, my I6 has a heat shield / cage underneath the exhaust, had a few rocks in it before.
