I'm curious, how hard is it to replace the water pump? I've been driving my truck more and have noticed that coolant seems to be vanishing and have been thinking about replacing the hoses and pump.

 

What motor? I changed mine in about 3 hours but that included replacing the front crank seal and harmonic balancer as well on my 5.8. I think it was more with getting everything out of the way than it was too replace the pump.

 

I used youtube videos to help me out when i changed my water pump on my 4.9.
