Default Washer fluid pump prob?

Of all the damn things to go wrong with a 23 year old truck. Had to replace the coolant/wiper fluid reservoir had a crack in it. In the process replaced the wiper fluid pump. Everything worked great for a few weeks then the wiper fluid pump went out on me. Pulled it out and replaced it, again everything worked great for a week or to then died on me again. Pulled the pump again and tested it outside of the reservoir and it works, but as soon as its placed into the tank it works only temporarily. I tested the power coming to the motor and it is inconsistent. I think there may be a short or faulty relay just can't find it. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!

Try cleaning the connector and spraying it with silicone spray. I have been having a similar problem and so far so good.

cut some or the rubber away from the end of connector and cleaned both ends and so far so good. Will have to wait a few weeks and see if it lasts. thanks
