Default warm start issues

My truck is an 88 with a 5L 302 and a M5OD behind it and 170,000 miles on it, and it starts like a champ in the cold, no hesitation, but there have been a few times when I get home from work, realize I should move over in the driveway after I have turned the truck off, and when I got to start it again it is REAL sluggish. and takes a while to start. am I right in thinking that this could be a worn out coil?

Could be. An Error code scan might help. What is the general condition of the Ignition system. Last tune up, age of components?
