Default Vibration comming from trans

When i drive my 95 F150, there seems to be a vibration comming from the transmission. its really noticable when i shut the over drive off. while its off and i reach the speed where it should shift into OD is where it vibrates. it also does this when over drive is on and it seems to hesitate to shift. once it does, the vibrating goes away. also when climbing hills, the seems to be very slugish. my truck has a 5.0L V8 and i assume this should be more than enough power to climb a hill but when i'm accending, the truck will often slow down and hesitate to downshift. once it does, it seems to have a hard time climbing the hill. any ideas what could be wrong??? thanks:-D

Sounds like clutch chatter. Specially if you have the 4r70w. I would do a tranny service and add a bottle of red smart blend.
