Very Odd Brake Issue
I've been dealing with this issue for a few weeks now but in short I'll explain it and but it makes zero sense to me.
I've replaced the front calipers and rotors with new brake lines and pads. I've replaced the rear drums as they were very worn. The pads are in good shape. All the brake lines are in good shape and I'm full on fluid.
When I stop normally the brakes work great.
I have issues stopping when the wheel is turned to the left going forward or in reverse.
The brake pedal goes all the way down to the floor almost. It's very odd and I'm not sure where to start without buying all sorts of parts. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank you for your help.
I have a 95 Eddie Bauer 5.8L RCLB.

Not sure but I'm thinking something to do with any sort of ABS. In my mustang sometimes I feel the brake pedal acting weird when going into a parking spot when the wheel is turned. Almost like a small grind with pedal slippage.
But as far as a pedal going to the floor I'm guessing what the previous poster suggested. Master cylinder or power brake boost. Is brake fluid full?

I had an inkling the whole time it was the Master Cylinder too but my friends keeps telling me otherwise. I may try that.
I am just guessing here, but maybe the wheel turning is affecting the vacuum pressure which powers the break booster? (strain on motor from power steering pump). I guess this would make it harder to push, not bring it to the floor, but who knows whats wrong in there. Change your master cylinder/brake booster and see if it fixes the problem. Are you getting air in the system after you bleed it out? Maybe the bad master cylinder is letting in air.
