drivers side comes off fairly easy. passenger side is a bit of a pain because of the upper intake manifold. the upper intake has a bolt in the middle that is torx but I don't remember the size. it is fairly hard to get to because of limited space. I had to use 10" of extensions. when putting it back together, make sure you put the upper intake gasket on the motor itself and not the manifold because I messed up the first gasket by doing the reverse. just take it nice and slow. it would probably be a good idea to clean the upper intake while it is off. also, it may be awkward to sit or stand in the engine bay while doing this so I took a 2x4 and layed it across near my grill and the top of the hood and it did not do any damage because I put a wash cloth under each side.

I took my intake off yesterday. The Torx bolt is a T40.
