Default Vacuum question

New to Ford trucks, got an 88 F-150 4.9 2wd. Previous owner did some "work" to it and I need to straighten it out. All i have to go by is the under the hood diagram and a Haynes manual, trying to figure out the hoses and parts for the vacuum hoses. Is there a site that I can go to that will help me make sense of all this?

sorry to hear you picked up a hack job. your not going to find much, all you can do is search google for engine bay pics and stuff.

and on another note, you want to replace all the hoses with the SAME size hose that your replacing. or it wont hold enough vac on some things.

Thanks, that wasn't what I was hoping to hear but am not surprised. Been doing some digging and looks like I get to keep on digging some more. Got a great deal on it so I won't be crying........yet!
