Default Vacuum Hoses

I'm in the process of rehabing my 1992 F150 Xl 4wd. I want to replace all the small diameter vacuum hoses. What type of hose should I be looking for?

I need to do this... a bunch of my hard tubes are rotted and crumble when I bump them.

how do you guys handle the connections? do this size tube hold onto the ports well? a previous owner of my truck replaced a few lines and kept 1/2" on those rubber elbows then just hooked onto them.
