Default update~~~ relapse and recovery?

copied and pasted from my "finally fixed" thread for more visibility.

update--- it was doing great for a while, but yesterday, it out of nowhere just relapsed... BAD. like it felt like it was running out of gas and there was a horrible vibration that felt like it was coming from the dash(?!) when i touched the accelerator. eventually it died and i had to restart it while moving and limp it home. get home and check out the connection to the fuel tank selector switch. if you mess with it it does partly come out but even when i pushed it back in still acted the same. so this morning i pushed it in as hard as i could, took it for a drive and it was back to normal. WTF. with how it intermittently goes from normal to terrible it has got to be the wiring with that switch right? i checked voltage and one of the wires was only getting about 8v versus some of the others getting right around 12. if i just replace that connector i dont know if it'll fix the problem. plus, the only one of those connectors i could find online, amazon says it doesnt fit my truck but it looks like the right one.
