Question what Transmissions options are available for the 88 F150 with a 4.9L? Currently it has a Mazda. I wanted something heavy duty. And was told by one person the Mazda and the other tranny from a F250 are the same ZF5, than was told they aren’t and the one is heavy duty and bigger and mods need to be done? What size Drive shaft from what vehicle? And U Joints etc?
