U joints
I haven't replaced my u joints on my truck and I cant tell witch ones I need on rock autos website I know this maybe a dumb question but whats the part numbers I need for moog u joints on a ext cab two wheel drive, im gonna replace all of them while im there thanks in advanced for any help
Just an FYI on u joints...I replaced mine and the the more expensive ones had a little needle grease joint and looked substandard to me so i bought the cheap ones and they were more sturdy looking with a regular grease joint. This was thru the local carquest dealer in town, So bring one with you to check it out! hope that helps
I think the cold forged ones are better and I did inquire as to the lack of grease nipples on some of the better brands. What I heard was no holes for grease to go through - stronger joint overall. Makes sense I guess, if you're really going to be applying maximum torque to them - kind of an off road, low range hill climb thing.
I agree with what ^^^ said, adding, did you break it 4 wheeling or just in general. I find cheap ones hold up better off road, and break when they should, and are cheaper to replace. if its wear damage on a hauler, the nicer joints will ride smoother, and hold up just as long.
They're cheap enough and easy to replace just go to your local parts store and get them that way they can get you the right part and you don't have to wait for it to be shipped

I have been trying to replace parts with quality parts and I really like moog, they have grease nipples on the moog and I don't off road and the ones in my truck haven't gone out yet but I like to replace parts before they leave me stranded
That's a good plan, moog are for life. Grease them when you put them in and then a week or so later. After that just grease them anytime you do the front end.
