Default U joint question

In 4wd taking sharp turns i get a popping sound, i'm pretty sure its the U-joints. I know its normal for 4wd vehicles to make these sounds when turning sharply, but latley it makes this noise if im turning the wheel even a little bit in 4wd. Does this indicate my U-joints are going bad or what?? Thanks for the help

Jack front of truck up, put it in 4x4, turn the wheels and see if you can isolate the noise, might be a bearing holding the drive shaft in place in the spindle causing the yoke to move around and make noise.
