Default Turn Signal switch 87 F150 XLT Lariat

I am changing out the turn signal switch and it is going well thanks to the helpful posts here. Simple question: When I put the steering wheel back on do the contact rings on the back of the steering wheel need any lubricant? Or is this a metal to metal slide contact?
'87 F150 1/2 ton 2wd, 302, XLT Lariat. Tilt steering, cruise control.

They're designed to be metal-to-metal only. If they're sticky or otherwise contaminated, use CRC brand electronic or electrical contact cleaner.

If the wheel rings are scored, the only thing I might add is a little electrical grease (NOT dielectric, or battery snot, or conductive, or anti-seize, or chassis, or thermal, or...):
