Default Trouble removing fuel filter.

I am having trouble removing the old fuel filter on my truck. I have the fuel line disconnet tool, as well as the four piece disconnect set from autozone. The rear line (in) came out with no problem but I spent almost three hours on the front line and it won't come out. Any suggestions?

I Had a similar problem, it's a lot easier if you remove the filter from its holder before taking off the front line. I had to push forward (relative to the truck) on both the fitting and the tool while pulling back on the filter before it came off. It helps to give it a little wiggle/twist too

Thanks for the advice. After trying everything I could think of I took it to a shop. They ended up cutting the filter off and replacing the retainer for a grand total of 17 bucks.
