So I have a 93 f150 with 302 with aode-w . Couple days ago I parked it at the store then went to put it in reverse . It wouldnt move . Then It sat and now it goes in reverse . But like when its warm she doesnt work . What could it be? There is no metal chips in the fluid . Could it need flush ? Or new fluid ? I was thinking filter is bad ? Or is there a sensor of some sort ? Please help !

When mine had similar symptoms, the transmission was thoroughly roached. Can't complain too much - it did go 209,000 miles, and I wasn't as religious about tranny fluid changes during that time as I am now. :-)

you could try a fluid and filter change. it sure wouldn't hurt and it will eliminate one of the possibilities, if it doesn't fix the problem.

good luck.
