Default Transmission problems..

So on my 4.9L, I keep having the line to connect the master cylinder to the slave cylinder keep coming off... The plastic retainer and the metal retainer that goes around the line are still on there.. Am I missing something somewhere? Any thoughts why this keeps coming off? This is the 5th time now...

Yeah those clips are a pain... ****ty design from the start. I remember the slave I put on when I did my clutch last came with some kind of 'improved' design... yeah right. I ended up just taking off the line at the top of the master cylinder because I didn't want to break the clip. Ended up dissecting the old one and I still couldn't figure out how the damn thing worked.
