Where is it and how to test it?

Sounds like you're talking about the mlps? It's on the driver's side attached to the piece that moves when you operate the shifter. No idea how to test it.

You know I am not sure, but the diagnostic codes for the 91' model vehicles are a 3 digit instead of 2, it seems to make sense. I was getting what seemed to be a single digit and it was throwing me.

The code that I am referring to for this switch is a 632 KOER
