Hello All, I was wondering, Can you rebuild any transmission or is there a certain point that the transmission cant be rebuilt and has to be replaced. Thanks

 

Unless the case is cracked you should be able to rebuild any transmission, though some manual may have the bearing bosses worn out or broken requiring a new case. Transfer cases are a different story. Lots of transfer cases wear out the tab holding the oil pump in place requiring a new case in order to repair it.
