weird thing happened today tried putting my 96 f150 into 4h today and it went into neutral tried playing around with it could get it too go into neutral (transfer case) and 4 low but not 4h when i shifted it into 4 high it was like it was in neutral?!?!?!??! WTF its a manual straight 6 4x4 f150 any ideas and before you list off the noob ones yes i played with the hubs still noting different even got out the manual to see if i wasn't making any noob mistakes and still nothing........any ideas to point me in the right direction?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

 

it might be the transfer case lincage, mine has a similer problem, mine will go into 4h but not neutral or 4l

 

maybe try and unbolt linkage off t-case and do it manually with your hands and see??
